Ok, so I am a huge rock person, love Led Zeppelin, black Sabbath, Metallica, etc……Was never really into pop music or dance music and I could not believe it but I balled my eyes out when Michael jackson died. I’ve never really liked his music or cared for him all that much, but cried so much when he died and then again watching the memorial. I even have a secret playlist on my Ipod with all his songs now….. Go figure!

So please throw me a vote so I can get some of the new stamps, the release date is at the end of the week!!!

Fishes Come True

Okay, so I tried something very different for this Christmas card. The colors are not traditional by any means. Golden rod, purple and green. Anyway I tried to follow the challenge that Sparkle gave us this week.

"This week is going to be a double challenge. The first part is the sketch. The second part is to use 1 colored cardstock (I don't count your image if it's on white), 2 stamps, 2 embellishments, and 5 pieces of paper. "

I think I did it, with actually 3 embellishments instead of 2. Not sure if you can consider the corner a piece of paper or not, but I call it an embellishment. And I had to move things around a bit in order to make it fit. You can't see it in the the photo but I even added some glossy accents to the cats eyes to make them POP.

A few new stamps

Got a few new stamps/images this week so finally got some tie to just play!
First Showerbuggs, we've had so much rain here lately that I thought this stamp would be appropriate.
I did not put a sentiment on it yet I will wait until I send it to someone.

The other is another image I just bought Gardenia Greenthumb from Stampingbella. I used some pink shimmerz on the wings.
Again no sentiments until I decide send it postal!! Enjoy!

The colors a little off on Riley, but he really did come out cute.
