Friday Sketcher 112

Although the Friday sketch used a square, I decided to use a rectangle shaped card. I received this image, Florence by Kraftin Kimmie, in an image swap over at SCS.

In my visit to Absolutely Everything, my fav local craft store, I picked p this Rusted Sun DP, called Sunrise. I thought the background suns were perfect for Florence at the beach.

The Sugar Bowl 39

Wow, look at that BLUE hair!
Challenge 39 at the Sugar Bowl was two fold, first a sketch to follow and then you had to use BLUE in theme.

I used Sugar Nellie- Coffee Time for my image. Along with that I used Creative Imaginations DP, memento ink, copics, prismacolor and bazil paper.

Make a Wish- Friday Sketchers #111

I'm trying to keep true to my promise and participate in 2 or 3 challenges a week.
This week I made this card for the Friday Sketcher challenge found here.

I used Cheeky Glamour from TGF.
The DP is from K & Company, it's called Wild Raspberry.
Not totally thrilled with how this came out, I think it's missing something, maybe I'll add something else to it.

Life....Sketch Saturday week 112

Life.....
Not quite the sentiment I wanted, but it looks nice.
I used the sketch challenge found at Sketch Saturday.
I'm not big on square cards either, but I gave it a try.

I used a Whipper Snapper stamp called- Big Kahuna, Basic Grey DP and used my nestabilities to cut the circles.
A few brads and some hemp twine.

Enjoy

Kenny K's Krafty Girls -1st Challenge

I stumbled across Kenny K's Downloads last week and I ordered two digi downloads. I made one card last week and choose to use this one in Kenny K's first card challenge. This image is called Download Diva isn't she great!
The challenge was to use pastel colors. This image seems like it would better in bold bright colors, but I gave it a shot with lighter pastel colors. I used K & Company Wild Rasberry DP, Copics, and Prismacolor pencils.

I love all of the digi images at Kenny K's blog, so go check them out here. I can't wait until he adds more!

Bellarific Friday July 16th

This week I played along with The Bellarific Friday Challenge.
Emily over at Stampingbella choose a sketch challenge this week.

I used the Martha Lulu image I received in a Wish RAK.
I just love this image. I also used K & Company Wild Rasberry DP, some light blue corrugated paper and some cute blue oval pearl like embellishments. Although you can't see it in the picture I used some Bubble Gum Shimmerz. The card looked a little plain at first so I added some hand drawn pink cross stitches.

Red One!! I'm looking for someone to punch! I couldn't resist using that for my card.
This is my first Shirley 2 Girls Challenge. This is for TNT Challenge #64.
I used the digi image called Love Bug from S2G and tried to follow the sketch the challenged us with. I distressed the paper to give it a more unique look.
I colored the car, cut it out, and mounted it with some foam backing to make it pop off the card.

Because you're worth it!

I stumbled across this sketch challenge as I was viewing all my favorite blogs.
CAS-tastic has a new challenge every Wednesday.
I used Basic Grey Dp and an image I received in a swap over at the SCS site. The images isfrom Wild Rose Studios and her name is Party Girl. She is just so cute!

The Sugar Bowl - challenge 38

I recently bought my first SugarNellie stamps and I really love this one called Goth Girl.
I found this great sketch challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. I used various DP from Basic Grey.

The picture did not come out as good as I hoped. The black looks grey, but it is really BLACK. i took many pictures, but they all came out the same.

Oh Baby-- CPS 173

Here is my card for the CPS 173 challenge. I've had so many friends having babies lately i thought I'd try to be one step ahead with this card. I tried to keep the colors neutral since I won't know if it's a girl or boy until later.

I used Heidia Grace DP and Stampin Up- babys first steps.
