2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #11

This week Sparkle gave us a sketch to use for our Christmas cards.
I made two cards this week, now just have to get better at taking the photos and publishing. I used some digi images from All that Scraps for these cards and mixed and matched some of the paper between the two cards.

Bellarific Friday Color Challenge February 19

This weeks challenge over at Stampingbella is a color challenge.
The colors are shown and the green color looked different from different computers.
At first I thought it was a light mint green, then it looked like a light torquiose. I had a hard time trying to make up my mind, so I left the green to minimum in the card.
The ribbon I used didn't really show up correctly in the picture.

Izzie with Daisies

Yes another Stampingbella image.
This is Izzie with daisies, thought she was just so cute.
After making this, I'm thinking the ribbon, 2 button and twine might just be toooo much, but it's staying for now!
Got to get better at adding sentiments to the front of my cards!!

Catch of the Day

I wish I had this image a few years ago when my son was younger.
I call him the MAD fishman JR.

He is 14 now, turning 15 soon and I'm not sure he'd like the image of this LITTLE BOY.
As you may know I love Stampingbella stamps and images.
This one is called "Catch of the Day"
I also used basic grey granola paper and miscellaneous ribbon.
Although you can't see it it I also used a ribbon slide with the word "Skill" on it.
Not sure if you need skill or luck to catch fish!!

BELLARIFIC FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12th

Another entry for Bellarific Friday.
This weeks theme- Valentines, of course.

I used Olivia, from Stampingbella's January release some Basic Grey paper from the Bittersweet line and some miscellaneous ribbon.

Christmas Card Challenge - week 9

Well,
I'm back!
Hopefully from here on I will be a regular at Sparkle's X-mas card challenge. Last year I completed well over 100+ cards to send out and I even sold some at a craft fair.

This week Sparkle wanted to use bright colors. She provided a beautiful ornament image for inspiration, but I went a different way with it. I just loved the pink and green together. I only made one, but hope to be back to 2 cards of each challenge soon.
I got my inspiration from a card I saw posted on SCS.

Recipe:
Image- Whippersnapper
Ink- momento black, copics, and prismacolor encils

Bellarific Friday 2/5/10

Welcome babies

One of my employees just had twins!! A boy and a girl!
I don't really have many/ any baby stamps or images, but got these in a swap on SCS.
Can't remember who makes this, maybe whippersnapper, but I thought it came out really cute.
Yu can't see from the picture but the sparkle stickers are blue and pink and the babies are popping out!
