X-mas card # 11 and Copic Creation challenge #37

Pink Cat Studios is sponsoring this weeks challenge at Copic Creations Challenge Blog. So if you want to try and win five digi images from Pink cat Studios you need to whip up a card and link it to their blog. You have until 10/31 to enter.
The challenge this week was to use the colorless blender. Not sure how much you can see in this picture, but I used the blender on Snowflake Fairy Lilly's hair, the color of the cape and the wings. I took this picture before I added a little sponging to the image.
i pictured this coming out a little different than it did, still cute but not what I had in mind.

Thanks Coach(es)

This is the final week of cheering for my daugther. I made four cards with these darling cheer monkeys from Bugaboo. I colored with copics and prismac pencils, then cut them all out. I used my grass punch with two different shades of green, then stuck the cheerleaders down, I used foam back tape on the the cheerleader in the air. I was thinking of adding a cartoon bubble so it looks like they are yelling out a cheer!
All four cards are basically the same. we will write a nice thank you on the inside.

Think Pink!

The other day I took my daughter to a members only sale at PINK and the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month inspired me to make this card. Now pink is just not my color and I found this digi image from Bugaboo stamps.
It represented me- exactly! I have another image from Bugaboo that I will add later this weekend.
I just love their images!

Card #10- 2010

I just loved this DP.
I thought the Stampingbella image would look great with the christmas tree background. I tried to make it look like the car had just driven out of the field of trees. I added a little glossy accents to the ornaments and headlights. I want to add a sentiment, but not sure what fits?? Any thoughts?

Bellarific Friday 10-22-10 Card #9- 2010

I up to card 9 of 12! ya hoo!
This week I used the sketch from Bellarific Friday at Stampingbella.
I was sorting through my christmas images last week and pulled out Christmartini. I then came across this DP from K& Company and thought they would go together great!. The swirls almost match exactly.
I used my spellbinders to but the circle the image out, and let the Christmas tree stirrer to pop out of the circle.

Sketch Saturday #124- Card #8 -2010

This week I've been working on getting a few more Christmas cards done.
Here is #8. I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Blog with one of my favorite Whippersnapper images.

The DP if from Cosmo Cricket- Holly Jolly, the image Whippersnapper- Jingle Balls.
My colors are non-traditional, but I like how they came out. The colors are a blue/green and purple , the lighting throws the colors off a bit.

Card Patterns Sketch # 85- Card # 7 2010- Snow Angels

I found this sketch at Card Patterns on Saturday. It looked fun and I thought it might work with my snow angel image from Cow Town Stamps.
The colors are a little diffeernt, but I was trying to be untraditional this year.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge-#32 Paper Piecing - Card #6 2010

While browzing the gallery at SplitCoastStampers, I found this card I absolutely loved. I looked into it further and it brought me to the challenge bloge over at Sassy Cheryls Digi Stamps.
The challenge for the week was to use paper piecing in your creation. Since I absolutely loved the card on SCS, I decided to purchase the image and do something similar.

Here's how it came out. I will use this as card number 6 of 12 of my Christmas cards!

The image is called Twiggy the Snowman, the paper is from American Traditioanl Designs and is called Chrismas Trees. I used my nestabilities and tried a technique I saw at Prairie, Paper & Ink
It didn't come at as I planned, but it doesn't look to bad either.

Snowman Trio

So this is card 5 of 12.
I just love this image from whippersnapper.
I cased a card on SCS made by jojot.
I just changed the colors. I love the colors she used also, but since I have an elf card with thoses colors, I went with purple and yellow.

ONLY 7 more to go....

ATS Wednesday Challenge- Clear Cards

In the race to choose 12 different cards to make for Christmas, I came accross this challenge over at All That Scraps blog challenge.

This week the challenge was to make a clear card. I've made a few in the past, but was never my favorite to work with.
I used Christmas Emma on this card. Colored her copics, then cut her out and attached her to the front of the clear card. I layered two DP papers on the inside and also stamped and embossed the Happy Holidays sentiment.

It came out cute, but a little hard to see in this picture.
