MORE for the craftfair

Craft Fair------

If my cards don't sell at the fair...well I won't need to make a card for a long time!!!!!!

FUNNY OLD FRIEND

Not much to write about on these cards.
They are real cute, would be great for an old friend!
I think they are much like the "Shoebox" cards you can buy in the store.

Been practicing my coloring and shading on all these cards.
Always inspired by my fav blog " Heaven's Created This"

More than a card

I found the instructions to this great card at SCS.
Not sure if you can really see from the pictures, but it's a card and on the inside is a matching bookmark.
I used the perforation wheel to my paper cutter to make the bookmark.

Isn't it a great idea?? Not only a nice card for someone, but also a little something to go with it.
I plan on making a few for some of my friends I don't really buy gifts for.

This particular card says "Friends Forever" on the inside.

Items for the craft fair

My daughter and I will be doing a craft fair in a few weeks.
Here are some of the items she has made with a little help from me.

A small gift for a teacher - made with Rolos and Hershey kiss.

Glass ornments with sand and shells with little tags with sayings such as "Snappy Christmas" and "Meryy Shells" I JUST LOVE THESE. Going to try and find a cute snowman or maybe a cup of cocoa and put inside the ornaments.

Snowman soup. Like her the way she designed the ingredients... Cute..
The stamp is from Inky Antics.

Dog treats and cats treats made with various stamps. She put these together and I helped to color the images.

These are gift card holders made from scrap cardstock.
She embossed and added buttons and other embellishments.

We found the instructions to make these here.
Simple to make!

This is a stationary holder. She found the instructions over at Splitcoaststampers and made 3 in just about 2 hours. Again just used a few pieces of cardstock to make this.

The costume 09

My daughter wasn't sure what to be this year for halloween.
Then she decided she wanted to be Lady Gaga, she wanted me to make her the outfit that Lady Gaga wore to the VMA awards.
So- here is how it came out!

Made a spandex dress for under thelace, then made the crown or hat or whatever you call it, wrapped lace over her face and voila!! Lady Gaga!!

A card for an old friend

This week was one of my oldest and best friends birthday.
I made he this because I knew she could take the joke!
Got this image in a swap so not sure who makes it.

Other cards I've been working on....

One of the Ketto's I received in a swap. I still have a hard time coming up with the sentiments to put on my cards.
After viewing some of the other great cards/blogs out there I think mine are a little plain, but I guess that is just my style

Another Ketto I received in a swap. I just loved this beautiful oriental looking paper, I colored her up to match as best a could, even added a little gold to her hair that you can't see in the photo.

One sentiment I don't have a problem using is:
Happy Cluckin Birthday and
Merry Cluckin Christmas

Need to find a better font for this.

Christmas Card challenge #45

This week's Christmas Card challenge over at Sparkle's blog was to use a bird/birds in your card. I got this stamp some time ago and have never used it until now. I lifted the layout from one of my favorite blogs, Heaven's Created This/

Enjoy!

World Card Making Day - WCMD09I

Here is my stab at WCMD09.
Scor-pal sponsored this challenge, although I don't have a scor-pal, I was still able to follow through and make a card. It is a upright Z fold card. Hard to see in the picture, but came out really cute! I left the bubble above daydreamabella head empty and will write something when I'm ready to send it!

Christmas card challenge #43

I've been absent from these challenges for awhile, but since today was a rainy day, I am trying to catch up.
There was no specific rules to this weeks challenge, so I look a sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping and used it with a cute snowman I received in a swap. I also used a circle punch on the edge to dress it up just a bit.

Copic Colour Challenge- #33

I've never done a color challenge before, so here is my first attempt.
I used a new digi downlad from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I loved these cute little eskimo children.
